American Fashion Thimbles and Easter greetings

About a year ago I wrote about a set of American Fashion Thimbles. Now, I already have them all, together with a beautiful wooden shelf. Ladies dresses are from the years, in order: 1890, 1900, 1923, 1927, 1928, 1938, 1942 and 1947. The set is not only an original addition to my thimble collection, but also a perfect decoration in the hall.

I wish you peace and smile on those Easter days. In the picture you can see our Easter eggs, coloured with special paints which gave the desired colours!

New thimbles for the exchange

I have a few new thimbles for the exchange. As always you can find them in my exchange post. New items come from Japan, Great Britain, Germany, Netherlands and Portugal. I would like to swap them for porcelain, signed thimbles. Waiting for interesting suggestions. Regards.

Lucy's got the thimble

From a few days Lucy's best toy is an American advertising thimble. I gave it to her, because I got two identical, but one has a failed print, so I could not use it for anything. Below you can see my tomcat in love with her new 'something' - perfect for wearing in the teeth, balling and making noise. More Lucy's photos can be found on my website. Miau!
